Affinity Living Central Manchester
Installation of over 2,300 blinds.
We secured this prestigious project requiring window blinds with fascias to every window over two buildings, along with motorised blinds to all the high level windows in the atrium area. Having worked with this client before, they were confident that we would be capable of delivering this complex project, despite having a full order book.
Project Challenges
Having to install a blind to every window to 332 apartments, over 33 floors between two buildings, organisation was paramount to the success of this project for us and our client. Having gained UKAS certification for ISO 1001, ISO 14001 along with OHSAS 18001 back in 2011, we implemented our quality, environmental and health and safety standards throughout the contract, ensuring that we complied with the varying phases between the two buildings achieving handovers without a hitch. Using only Opal employed installers and inhouse management team, we were never unsure of where we were at any moment throughout the project, quite a feat to achieve!
